Our First Big Frost...

When it is really cold in the morning the dew drops on the grass turn to ice. This is called frost. When we came to school this morning our field was white. After school started we went out onto the field, but most of the frost had gone.  We discovered that the frost was only in the shady parts under the trees. The frost in the middle of the field had already melted in the sun. We picked grass that had frost on it from under the trees. When we held our grass in the sunshine the frost on it melted.

Going to Grandma's

This week we have been reading a book called "Going to Grandma's". On Wednesday we made our own pair of Grandma glasses. Don't we look SPECtacular!
