George's Horrible Grandma
Room 3 is reading George's Marvellous Medicine by Roald Dahl. Today some of us wrote descriptions of George's horrible Grandma...
George's Grandma is a mean woman and her mouth is like a dog's bottom and she eats slugs and snails and earwigs and cockroaches. George is going to make a new medicine. It is going to be so rich that her head is going to blow off. His Grandma wants him to grow down and not up and he thinks that she is a witch and her mouth has an icy smile.

Transit of Venus
Today we watched some live pictures of Venus moving between the Earth and the Sun. When Captain Cook came to New Zealand it was part of a journey to watch the transit of Venus too.
